Product details
Kaleidescape Strato K is a movie player for downloaded films, television and concerts. It introduces 4K Cinematic playback with full chroma up to 4:4:4 and supports native 8K output up to 30 frames per second. Dolby Vision is supported for compatible 4K material, with HDR10 available up to 8K.
Local playback and lossless sound
A 960 GB internal SSD supports standalone operation. Movies are downloaded before playback, and compatible HDMI systems can receive lossless audio formats including Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, DTS:X and DTS-HD Master Audio. The separate optical and coaxial outputs provide stereo PCM. Movie titles and available formats depend on the regional Kaleidescape store.
Storage growth and cinema control
Grouping Strato K with a compatible Terra server moves library storage to the server and enables navigation for larger collections. In standalone mode, downloads become eligible for automatic removal 48 hours after playback; purchased titles can be downloaded again. Gigabit Ethernet, IR, HDMI CEC and supported IP control systems provide installation options, with rack and wall mounts available separately.
