The platform downloads movies, television series and concerts to local storage before playback. Compatible Strato players deliver high-bitrate video and lossless audio formats including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, while Terra and Terra Prime servers expand the library and distribute it to viewing rooms around the home. Supported picture formats depend on the player, with the range extending to Dolby Vision, 4K Cinematic and native 8K playback.

Kaleidescape’s on-screen library and compatible control-system integrations bring browsing, collection management and cinema automation together. Australian residential distribution is handled by Audio Active, following the market expansion announced in April 2025. Movie purchases and rentals are separate from the hardware, and the available titles, editions and formats vary by territory.
