Product details
Kaleidescape Compact Terra 30TB is a dedicated movie server with 30 TB of integrated hard-disk storage. It holds licensed downloads from the Kaleidescape movie store and supplies them over the home network to compatible Strato movie players.
Shared library for multiple rooms
The Compact Terra specification supports up to five simultaneous standard 4K playbacks, or up to three 4K Cinematic/8K playbacks with suitable players and content. A wired Gigabit Ethernet connection links the server to the network. Storage requirements vary with title length and format, so the number of movies held depends on the files selected.
System installation and storage choice
A separate Strato player provides the HDMI connection to each display or cinema system. Grouping with a server enables the full Kaleidescape library views and collection controls. The Silver anodised-aluminium enclosure can be used on a suitable shelf or with an optional rack mount. A universal-input external supply powers the server. The 8 TB and 30 TB models provide linked storage choices within the same Compact Terra family.
