Product details
Kaleidescape Strato E is a compact 4K movie player with a 480 GB internal SSD. It supports Dolby Vision, HDR10 and SDR video, with lossless multichannel sound delivered through HDMI to a compatible home cinema system.
Downloaded playback in a small enclosure
Movies, television series and concerts are downloaded from the Kaleidescape store before playback. The HDMI 2.1 output supports up to 2160p60 video and formats including Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, DTS:X and DTS-HD Master Audio. The fanless enclosure uses convection cooling, making it suitable for shelves or discreet placement with the required ventilation.
Standalone or server-connected
The internal SSD supports a small standalone library. Downloads become eligible for automatic removal 48 hours after playback, while purchased titles can be downloaded again. Connecting a compatible Terra server uses shared server storage and enables the full library-navigation experience. Gigabit Ethernet, IR, HDMI CEC and IP control provide system connections. Content and available formats vary by territory, with movie purchases and optional mounting accessories separate from the player.
