Product details
Kaleidescape Strato C is a 4K Ultra HD movie player designed to access a compatible Kaleidescape server over a wired network. It provides SDR and HDR10 video up to 2160p60, alongside lossless multichannel audio for a suitable home cinema processor or receiver.
Separate video and audio paths
A main HDMI 2.0a output carries picture and sound, while an additional HDMI 1.4 audio-only output provides a separate connection to an audio system. Supported HDMI audio formats include Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, DTS:X and DTS-HD Master Audio. Optical and coaxial outputs also provide stereo PCM. The on-screen interface is rendered in 4K.
Server-based cinema system
Strato C has no internal movie storage, so a compatible Terra server or other supported Kaleidescape storage system is required separately. Additional players provide viewing zones around the home, subject to server performance. IR and IP control integrate with suitable automation systems. Movie purchases or rentals are separate from the hardware, and the regional store determines title availability. Optional rack shelves and a wall mount support custom installation.
