Eversolo’s DMP-A8 combines network streaming, local-file playback, digital-to-analogue conversion and a balanced analogue preamplifier. An AK4191EQ/AK4499EX conversion stage and XMOS XU316 USB processor support PCM up to 768 kHz/32-bit and native DSD512.
Analogue preamplification and system connections
Balanced XLR and RCA inputs feed a fully balanced preamplifier with up to 10 dB analogue gain and R2R volume control. XLR and RCA outputs connect to active loudspeakers or a power amplifier. USB-B, coaxial, optical, HDMI ARC and Bluetooth inputs accommodate additional sources. External digital inputs route to analogue or I²S outputs, subject to the documented routing limitations.
Streaming, storage and direct control
A six-inch touchscreen and Eversolo Control app provide access to music services and local libraries. Gigabit Ethernet and dual-band Wi-Fi support networking, while an M.2 NVMe slot accepts optional local storage. USB audio, I²S, coaxial and optical outputs support use as a digital transport for compatible sources. Separate analogue and digital power supplies, DSP tools and Bluetooth 5.0 complete the original DMP-A8 platform.
