The Focal Trio6 is an active three-way studio monitor from the ST6 range. Its dual Focus modes provide three monitoring configurations: full three-way playback, midrange-plus-tweeter playback, or the midrange driver alone.
Drivers and amplifier allocation
An eight-inch W-cone bass driver works with a 13 cm W-cone midrange and pure-beryllium inverted-dome tweeter. Class G amplifiers deliver 100 watts RMS to bass and 100 watts RMS to midrange, with a 50-watt Class AB treble stage. The main response extends from 35 Hz to 40 kHz within three decibels.
Installation and acoustic controls
The mid/treble plate rotates in 90-degree increments for horizontal or vertical installation. Rear controls provide sensitivity selection, high-pass filtering, LF/HF shelving and a 160 Hz low-mid adjustment. Automatic standby can be disabled. Focus switching offers additional mix-translation checks without adding another monitor cabinet. Black natural-veneer side panels match the Black body.
