The Focal 1000 IW6 is a two-way closed-back in-wall loudspeaker for integrated stereo and home-cinema systems. A 16.5 cm W-composite bass/midrange driver works with a pure-beryllium inverted-dome tweeter, with both drivers developed and manufactured in France.
Enclosed construction and adjustment
The MDF and aluminium enclosure provides a defined acoustic volume within the wall. A positionable tweeter and selectable treble level help adapt its presentation to the listening position and room. The passive design has an eight-ohm nominal impedance and a recommended amplifier range of 25 to 150 watts.
Discreet installation
A ready-to-paint magnetic grille allows the visible surface to coordinate with the room. The supplied cut-out template supports installation planning, while black and white felt provide finishing options behind the grille. A separate construction assembly kit and optional on-wall frame offer additional installation routes. The quoted 6.75 kg net weight includes the grille; mounting clearances should be checked against the installation documentation.
