Esoteric’s T-01 brings technology from the Grandioso T1 into a more compact, two-unit analogue platform. The patented MagneDrive system rotates the platter without physical contact between the drive mechanism and platter, limiting vibration transfer.
Magnetic drive and platter support
Magne-Float magnetic support reduces the 13 kg platter’s effective bearing load to approximately 4 kg. An inverted bearing, triple-layer aluminium-and-wood chassis, piano-lacquer centre section and integrated isolation feet provide a stable mechanical foundation. A separate power supply isolates power circuitry from the turntable.
Clock precision and tonearm flexibility
The Master Sound Discrete Clock motor driver supports an external 10 MHz reference through BNC. Speed settings cover 33⅓ and 45 rpm with ±12.5% adjustment in 0.1% increments. T-01 is available with the TA-9S static-balance tonearm or without a tonearm, and can accommodate a second arm with optional arm boards. Cartridge and tonearm configuration can be selected separately; photographs showing two arms illustrate an optional configuration. Launched in September 2026.
