KEF’s R6 Meta is a three-way centre-channel speaker designed for clear home-cinema dialogue and consistent integration with the R Meta range. A 12th-generation Uni-Q array places a 25 mm tweeter at the centre of a 125 mm midrange cone, supported by 2 × 165 mm (6.5 in) hybrid aluminium bass drivers.
Uni-Q with Metamaterial Absorption Technology
MAT absorbs unwanted sound from behind the tweeter. Shadow Flare reduces cabinet-edge diffraction, while a flexible decoupling chassis and constrained-layer damping limit vibration and colouration.
Controlled bass and system matching
A sealed enclosure provides controlled bass and versatile placement. The R6 Meta can also form part of an LCR arrangement. KEF recommends a 15–250 W amplifier; nominal impedance is 4 Ω.
Supplied as one speaker with a magnetic microfibre grille and rubber feet. Available in Black Gloss, White Gloss and Walnut.
