The original PIEGA Premium 301 is a compact passive bookshelf speaker with an aluminium cabinet and ribbon tweeter. Its front baffle is roughly the size of an A4 sheet, making it suitable for shelves, sideboards or optional stands in small to medium rooms.
Ribbon treble and MDS bass
A 140 mm MDS bass/midrange driver works with the LDR 2642 MKII ribbon tweeter. The system covers a manufacturer-quoted 39 Hz to 50 kHz range. Removable fabric covers allow the drivers to be exposed or concealed without changing the cabinet’s clean profile.
Aluminium form and practical connection
Stephan Hürlemann designed the curved C-profile cabinet, with a flush-fitting front cover and an elliptical shape that keeps the appearance slim. Despite its compact size, each speaker weighs 9 kg. PIEGA’s Multi Connector terminals connect to a separate amplifier, with a recommended output of 20–200 watts. Finishes include Silver, Black and White.
