The Anthem MRX 540 8K combines seven-channel processing with five built-in amplifier channels. Its preamplifier outputs allow a compatible external power amplifier to supply additional channels, while ARC Genesis room correction adapts the system to the listening space.
Power and home-cinema sources
The five amplifier channels are rated at 100 watts per channel into eight ohms with two channels driven from 20 Hz to 20 kHz at one percent THD. Seven HDMI 2.1 inputs support compatible 8K/60 and 4K/120 sources, with two HDMI outputs and eARC available for a suitable television. Dolby Atmos and DTS:X decoding support immersive source material within the available speaker configuration.
Connected listening and setup
Wi-Fi and Ethernet connect network sources, while AirPlay 2, Chromecast Audio, Spotify Connect and Bluetooth offer additional playback options. Analogue, optical and coaxial inputs accommodate external components. The browser-based setup interface provides system configuration and control, with an included calibration microphone supporting ARC measurements.
