Halcro’s Equinox is a stereo line preamplifier that separates its audio circuitry from the power supply and control electronics. Its two machined-metal chassis can be arranged side by side or stacked.
Separate audio and control sections
A proprietary dual switch-mode supply operates above the audio band. The isolated audio enclosure, internally braced casework and custom isolation feet reduce interference and mechanical resonance.
Flexible analogue system control
Balanced XLR, unbalanced RCA and current-mode outputs support a wide range of power amplifiers. Bridge-drive modes, phase inversion, programmable inputs, trigger control and an audio ground-lift function provide flexible integration. Volume is adjustable from −60 dB to +20 dB in 0.5 dB steps using the front control or supplied remote. Available in a matte grey finish.
