AudioQuest DragonFly Copper combines a USB DAC, preamplifier and headphone amplifier in a pocket-sized enclosure. Its 32-bit ESS Sabre DAC and copper-plated case are designed to improve playback quality and drain radio-frequency noise.
AudioQuest specifies twice the output power of previous DragonFly models and 25% lower current draw. A 64-step digital volume control follows the connected device’s system volume, while the illuminated emblem indicates the playback sample rate.
The USB-A plug connects directly to compatible computers, and the supplied form-fitting DragonTail adapter adds USB-C connectivity for phones, tablets and laptops. A 3.5 mm output feeds headphones, powered speakers or an external audio system. Supported playback rates are 44.1, 48, 88.2 and 96 kHz.
